The HTC Comet 70th Obstacle Course

 

On Friday 26th July 2019 as part of World Hatfield Week, Apex will working in partnership with Hatfield Town Council,  The Herts Sports and Physical Activity Partnership, and Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council to deliver a fantastic and fun 3.5km Obstacle Course with inflatables at Ellenbrook Fields.

 

The course will comprise of a number of inflatable obstacles to scale over at a distance of either 1.5km, 3.5km or 5km which participants can choose from to complete the course.

Participants can choose to change their mind about the distance of the run on the day.

However there are time slots that will appeal to different participants as follows;

11am – 1pm – Family Fun Race (ages 4 and upwards)

1pm – 6pm – Local community corporate organisations (perfect for team building events)

 

Cost of participation will be just £5 per person which includes a 70th Comet sponsored drawstring bag (to transport your trainers over the obstacles) and a pair of quick release laces (to ensure a speedy transition between obstacles).

 

Any funds raised will be returned to the grant giving body Hatfield Community Sports Fund.

 

The event takes place at Ellenbrook Fields, a privately owned nature reserve which IS adjacent to the University of Hertfordshire Sports Village outdoor pitches on de Havilland Campus, Hatfield, Hertfordshire. To access Ellenbrook Fields, you can park in the main de Havilland campus entrance, off Mosquito Way (postcode AL10 9EU) and make the short walk.
