Our Customers Say…
“The Apex Holiday Club at Roundwood Primary School, Harpenden with Danny Howard was excellent. Danny is great with the kids – full of fun and enthusiasm. My 10 year old who has experienced quite a few holiday and afterschool clubs and is generally not very keen on holiday clubs really enjoyed this one and has actively asked to go again next week.”
“Mr Howard who runs Roundwood Primary holiday club is amazing. My grandson loves attending and even wants to go when we don’t need him to attend. Mr Howard provides a wide range of activities that keeps children completely entertained for the whole day. Couldn’t ask for anything better. My grandson loves attending and like previously mentioned wants to attend even when we don’t need him in club.”

When do our camps run?
Our activity camps run throughout the year, most camps run every school holidays however it’s always best to check each camp for specific dates.
What clothing should be worn to camp?
Comfortable and sensible clothing should be worn and we highly recommend sports trainers. Please bring warmer clothing and a coat in case of poor weather. The children can always remove a layer if necessary. All camps have changing facilities for both genders.

How old do kids have to be to attend camp?
Children need to be aged 5+ to attend, in some circumstances we may allow younger children to participate (e.g. if they have an older sibling attend) however it falls to the judgement of the lead coach of that camp. There is no maximum age, however secondary school children are likely to want to try other more challenging activities.
What is your behaviour policy?
What do you have to bring to camp?
Please provide a healthy packed lunch and a drink in a refillable bottle. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing for all weathers depending on the time of year.
Please do not bring mobile phones or iPads etc as they are not required (we will not be responsible if any are misplaced or lost). The coach will always have a mobile phone with them for emergency purposes and any messages can be passed onto children if necessary.
Do children need money at camp?
No money is required at camp.
My child has a medical condition. Do I need to tell you?
Medical information is collected when you complete our booking procedure. Please give us as much information as possible to ensure we are fully aware and you can let us know what we need to look out for so that we can act accordingly.
Will you contact us in an emergency?
Yes, of course. It is important you continually give us your contact details when re-booking for this very reason. In case of emergencies we will act accordingly and keep the parents/guardians updated.
